Overview
Meridian designs restrained, light-filled buildings. Their previous identity felt corporate and undersold the work. They wanted something architectural in its own right.
The challenge
Translate the studio's sense of proportion and restraint into a 2D system that still felt warm in client-facing documents.
The approach
A single horizon line became the organising device — used as a rule, a margin, and a structural element across the identity. Generous whitespace and a tight type system let the architecture photography lead.

- Guidelines
“It feels like it was always ours. That's the highest compliment I can give.”
— Principal, Meridian Architects
Used across pitch documents, site signage, and the studio's monograph. The mark now appears etched into the entrance of two completed projects.
